hiii!! today is going to be a mixed post - aka, half about art and half about animal jam!
(and, if you've noticed, i changed the font size!)
firstly, let's talk about sketchbooks. you can see a picture of my own further up (this is my sixth sketchbook) <3
sketchbooks are books in which artists record their sketches, and sometimes art. i use mine to sketch little doodles and to keep my drawings in one place. i also use it to practise realistic art!!
let's skip to the point - inspiration.
when drawing in my sketchbook, i sometimes get crushed by art block, so it's essential to look for artists online to spark your motivation! for me, that used to be drawingwiffwaffles, but she hasn't posted in ages (bless her soul).
i spent a whole day searching for someone new to listen to while i draw. and i found this jewel: JELARTS!
she's my biggest inspiration to draw and i love listening to her talk in the background while i draw! so, i suggest finding that one artist that sparks happiness in you and feel free to comment about them here!
moving on to the ajpw unicorns!
i have no idea how animal jam has been ignoring this for so long, but I LOVE THESE SO MUCH!! been an avid unicorn fan since i was 9 and found a unicorn book in the airport :3
ANYWAYS these fun little guys can be found by buying a wish token from aj or my shops. you can also trade for one, but i'll probably check out the my shop explorer.
the fun part? they grow up, just like dinos! you can grow them by using ANOTHER magic token or just levelling them up until level 5 :)
