Hey, jammers! If you're wondering why I haven't posted in so long, I actually did post on April 14th, but I didn't even get a view so I deleted it. Maybe AJ blogs are just getting boring?
Not to worry, I'm not quitting. The week after April 14th (April 21st), I was too busy to think up a post that day and the whole weekend, because I was going on a trip on April 24th until yesterday.
I'm back now, though! And today I will be talking about scammers in Animal Jam and why they scam, along with some scams to watch out for!

Firstly, scamming is illegal, but there is no universe where rules aren't broken. Scammers might think that hurting little kids feelings/scamming everyone is fun and cool, but believe me - no matter how fun scammers think it is, no matter how much they earn from it, no matter how much they like it, scamming is wrong.
Scammers might scam because they feel bad about themselves and want everyone else to feel the same way. Some might do it for respect, all though I don't see how you can respect a person who scams. Quite a few do it for money - they either sell what they scam online or get payed by some creepo to get the items for their precious collection. There's about a million different reasons why scammers scam, also including because they're bored of AJ and need -strike. to get banned .strike- a new depressing hobby.
On that happy note, let me tell you three scams to watch out for.
1 ;; It's My Birthday!
This scam used to be quite popular, and still is in some servers. Basically, most people dress up as a new jammer/make a new account or just stay in their account and say "gift me, it's my birthday" or something along the lines of that. People gift them good stuff sometimes, and then the next day someone sees them say this again and they get reported.
2 ;; I'll Gift You My ......... If You Gift Me Your .......... First!
Many people still do this scam. They don't have to dress up as anything, they just go over to a rare person with an item they want and hope the person has an IQ of zero percent or is too tired to notice they're scamming them.
Anyways, the scammer goes up to this rare person, right? Then they say something roughly similar to the title of this scam and the person might think they're truthful and they will send them their item. The scammer runs away with it and leaves the other user behind, with their item stolen and no gifts in the inbox.
3 ;; Do You Trust Me?
This is one of the most common scams. It mostly happens when a scammer scams their buddy. They ask their buddy something like the title of this scam and the buddy will probably say yes if they are very good friends with the scammer. Anyways, they trade the scammer with a good item, 'trusting' them to give it back, and the person accepts, leaves the game or goes to their den, locks it and unbuddies the person they scammed.
I do hope you enjoyed today's post - it's one of my very favourites! Today's shoutout is Dogs: You Didn't Know, a blog by one of my very best friends, Dogo! Go check it out, Dogo knows some pretty interesting stuff about our furry friends :3

Hey there! Sorry for not checking in.. .I was also on vacation hehe
Also when you said "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY" (as part of the "It's My Birthday" scam) I got SO scared and I was like aaaaaa but then checked the date xD
Honestly I don't understand why scammers spend so much time on a kids game, but people are people, I guess. And thanks for letting me know about Dogo's blog!
